With a 4 bedroom property in a little village called Farmoor just west of Oxford our customer wanted to add an extension to create a dressing room with en-suite upstairs study / reading room downstairs. Very little garden space was sacrificed with a large front garden and a fair size rear garden. The downstairs room had a knock through from the main living room and a large window at the front fitted along with a set of french doors to the rear. This enhanced the views of the gardens front and back. Upstairs the customer wanted to achieve a ‘secret’ doorway through to the the new area, we carefully removed part of an existing wardrobe and installed the new doorway through to the dressing room. Towards the end of the project the wardrobe frontage was modified and reinstalled so when closed it look the same as before we started. Inside the dressing room we built some floor to ceiling wardrobes with hanging rails and shelves, in the en-suite we installed a shower with tray and screen, a basin and toilet with accompanying base and wall units. The whole project was decorated by our in house decorator and the exterior was finished buy our groundworkers with a path / patio and a full height wall to divide the front and back.

“We found R&B Builders to be excellent. We were told in advance what was going to happen and it did, on time with no hassle. Gary oversaw the site and managed the teams and organised deliveries, every detail was cared for. All the staff were good men and skilled to a high standard. We definitely recommend this company!“
