This loft conversion was carried out mid 2018, it is a conversion that is very popular around Oxford with the original roof being a double hip style we had to remove the whole existing roof and re-build from the gutter up, this allowed for a new brick gable end wall and a full with dormer. Internally we split it into 2 small bedrooms and a shower room with the plan in the future to open it up to one big room. The front elevatuion of the new roof has been fitted with 3 new Velux windows, 2 into the bedroom and 1 slightly smaller one into the stair well, the front was then insulated, covered with breatherble felt, new battens and tiled with the original tiles to stay inkeeping with the street. The rear dormer was fitted with a large UPVC floor to ceiling window with the antisapation of upgrading to a bi-fold door in the future, the en-suite has a Aluminium obsure window. Externally the dormer was rendered with Krend silicone through colour render system and a GRP flat roof covering. Finally as part of the loft project we installed new hand rail on the existing stairs and along with the loft fitted bespoke glass balustarding and all the decorating was carried out by the customer.
